Both Aleafia and one of the subsidiaries the acquired (Emblem Corp) got financings that involved MMCap and have been bound to their shorting efforts ever since. Aleafia is actually putting its own pressure on the shorts through the coming fundamentals in the Q4-2020 financials due out by March/31st. Launched a few products and have international sales coming online. And they just signed the largest private union in Canada, Unifor, for a 10 year exclusive medical coverage deal. The share price moved up from ~$0.46 in early January to $0.77 today (with a high of $0.94 on Jan/20). But the shorts are slamming them again.
